Cefn Cam is a wonderful place. We are a family of 7 adults and 1 dog We stayed for a week but really wanted to stay longer. The cottage is everything you could wish in a holiday home. It is well equipped with everything you need. We were all amazed at the size of the cottage and the beds were really comfortable. We did not venture far whilst there as we all loved the ever changing views. The wildlife on the estuary was amazing and we have some great photos. The jewel for us though was watching an otter right in front of the cottage on our first day there.
We all came home very relaxed and happy. Our eldest son had a few lumps on his head as he is 6ft 4in and never learned to duck! But even he loved the cottage. We have already decided that we will return and have booked for later in the year.

We returned from a week in February. My wife and I slept with our daughter in the two attic rooms, with 3 other adults sleeping downstairs in the other two bedrooms. The house is just so lovely, particularly the view out the back down the estuary, a constantly changing beautiful bit of scenery. We also really liked the second lounge area where we had a fire each night and played games. It does have the feel of well loved family home and is really well stocked with all the different cooking bits and pieces you would never have in a generic rental. We look forward to returning at some point in the future. Thank you! — James Fox, 05 Mar 2017
Just returned from a fabulous May Bank Holiday week. I got the chance to book Cefn Cam second time around as I waited too long on first spotting the listing and then when I returned for another look and contacted Clare it was again available.....what a fantastic result. Cottage was exactly as listed and yes I would view the set up as family orientated and no not all conveniences are 5 star if that is what you require, but who cares as its clearly a well loved family retreat and nothing was lacking in any way at all. Quaint and quirky with so much character in a most beautiful location and for my family it was exactly what we all needed at quite a difficult time for us. Would we return some time......oh yes. — Andrew Upton, 05 Jun 2016
What a fantastic place! Just what we all needed. We stayed mid May for a family get together. Who needs a TV! The ever changing view was so relaxing and magical all through the day and night. Cottage had everything you need and the Kayaks and canoe were a great hit, Great pub within walking distance and fantastic walks on your doorstep should you wish to venture further afield. All in all a perfect retreat. Loved it. — Bev J, 30 May 2016
Stayed here for a week with another family in August and absolutely loved all the amenities on offer, the kids made full use of the beach in front of the house and the kayaks. The George Inn is fantastic for Sunday lunch, but do book it gets busy. Idyllic holiday had by all and we will definitely be back! — Salli Baker, 05 Nov 2015
I've been coming here with my family since I was five. I enjoy myself every time, there's always something new to do. The cottage is perfect for relaxation but there's never a dull moment, with plenty to do without even leaving the place. The rooms are cosy and comfortable and the garden room is perfect for reading or playing games in the evening. I'm never disappointed when my family book another holiday there! — Hannah Jones, 10 Aug 2015
